After a great time in Miami last year, we have decided to return to our favorite location - New Orleans! We put together a first class trip including delicious meals and great parties that go late into the night. We ask all of our major vendors to participate in the conference because we truly believe that these two days are the best way for our vendors to create a long lasting personal relationship with the people who work at Pluckers. We guarantee that you will have a great time and this conference will be work that certainly doesn't feel like work!

This was a favorite event of our 2020 trip to New Orleans. We can’t think of anything more native to Louisiana than a good old-fashioned crawfish boil. NOLA Crawfish King will be putting on a true Louisiana Crawfish Boil for us complete with mud bugs, shrimp, crab, and plenty of Jambalaya,Gumbo, and Po’Boys for those non-crawfish lovers too!
Dinner
Galatoire’s: 209 Bourbon Street

A favorite dinner spot of several Pluckers trips in themid-2010s, we are excited to be heading back to dinner at Galatoire’s. Galatoire’s has been a fine-dining staple of New Orleans dating back to 1905.

One of our all-time favorite events, we are visiting Brennan’s for brunch for the first time since 2010. For nearly seven decades, Brennan’s has provided its guests with authentic creole cuisine. Brennan’s is the official home of Bananas Foster – the popular dessert was invented at Brennan’s in the 1950s.
Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt has long been a favorite of the Pluckers trip. Our very first scavenger hunt was in New Orleans in 2015 and since then we’ve held scavenger hunts in Vegas and Miami. Our last scavenger hunt was in Miami in 2019 so we figured it was time to bring it back! You will find out your team at brunch and will leave directly from Brennan’s. The winning team will win $2,500.
Happy Hour
Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar

We’ll get back together to swap stories, sip some cocktails, and tally up the points for the scavenger hunt so we can crown the winning team!
Windsor Court Hospitality Suite

What would a Pluckers trip to New Orleans be without a second line? We’ll meet in the hospitality suite at 6:45 PM to transport to our dinner party event.

Toulouse Theatre has a robust history of live music performances dating back to the 1970s. We’ll enjoy dinner, drinks, and musical evening.
We will have transportation arranged for the everyone to return to the airport. Austin, Houston and San Antonio folks will meet in the lobby at 9:00 AM. The bus will leave at 9:30 AM with or without you. The Dallas folks will meet in the lobby at 10:00 AM. The bus will leave at 10:30 AM with or without you.
DISCLAIMER: New Orleans is a blast but comes with all the trappings of a BIG CITY – this is NOT Austin, so please do not walk down dark streets alone or in small groups. Do not leave your peers or friends alone at a bar or on Bourbon Street. We expect a fun and safe few days, but please remember to be careful and aware of your surroundings at all times. PLEASE BE SAFE!! Side Note: If anyone tells you they can guess where you got your shoes ….Don’t take the challenge – b/c the answer is “On Your feet!”
Other Housekeeping Information
Social Media: One of the best parts of the trip is reliving all the great moments on social media. We ask that everyone who attends use the #pluckinnola for all of your social media posts so everyone can enjoy. If you search #pluckinnola on Instagram, you’ll see some great pictures from years past.
Hotel: Once again, our accommodations are at the locally owned and operated luxury hotel, The Windsor Court. The hotel is very well located, right across the street from the casino and a short walk to the French Quarter. A Four Star, Four Diamond hotel, the Windsor Court is considered one of the nicest hotels in the city. Be sure to check out their famous art collection and the jazz bar on the second floor.
Hospitality Suite: Per usual, we will have a dedicated Hospitality Suite in the Hotel. It is located in The Gallery on the 4th floor of the hotel. The suite is for all to enjoy as long as itis open and it will have plenty of snacks and libations.
Flights: You should have received your flight information from either Bryana Cantu or Caitlyn Watson. If you have not, please reach out to Caitlyn directly. We have arranged for transportation for everyone to the hotel. There will be three different groups – DFW arrives first and will head to the hotel on their own bus. Austin arrives second and will also head to the hotel on their own bus. San Antonio will be changing planes in Houston and will be on the same flight as the Houston folks. San Antonio and Houston will head to the hotel together on the third bus.
